How to find a job in Moscow without experience and not run into scammers? Step-by-step instruction

Finding a job in Moscow is not so difficult if you are purposeful. We will tell you what to do and how not to fall into the tricks of scammers.

We’ll start right away with fraud, as this is very important: it’s enough to make a mistake once and trust in order to lose time, money, self-confidence and, God forbid, health.

The risks

Job seekers without work experience are the psychologically most vulnerable group, since many are ready to take up almost any job and on any conditions. Fraudsters know this and use it, so there are many traps among vacancies without work experience. Be careful.

So, when you should not trust the "employer":

1. There is no exact information about the company on the Internet, or the company is on the “black list of employers”. Check the database on the Internet through search engines, read reviews.
2. You are told that for an interview you need to bring a passport and the nth amount of money to purchase a medical book, form, license to transport passengers, purchase a catalog or something else. Allegedly, this is then compensated for when calculating wages. You will come to the lobby of a business center, sign an agreement, give the money, they will tell you where to come to work tomorrow. You will come, but they don’t know you there.
3. You are told that cash contributions, the purchase of products is mandatory, and you also need to undergo paid training and you need to pay everything now.
4. They promise you “golden mountains” (full social package, “white” salary, bonuses), and in response to questions about official employment, they evade.
5. A person’s conversation is distinguished by a quick speech, it practically does not allow you to say, but loads information and requires a decision from you here and now.
6. You are not given time to familiarize yourself with the contract, assuring that it is typical.
7. At the interview you are given a huge questionnaire, where you must provide information not only about you, your income, property, but also about your loved ones. Do not fill out anything, this information may be used for criminal purposes.
8. They answer the question about salaries: "it all depends on your desire and determination, our employees receive up to 100,000 and more."

If you are offered to sign an agreement immediately after the interview in order to “legitimize” your working relationship, take your time. Say that you will take the documents for review or you need time to read. Sit down and read. If you are not allowed to read, leave. Signing any documents blindly is dangerous.

Do not accept any conditions of the employer; there are good vacancies at the labor exchange where your work will be adequately paid. You just need to look for them!

How to find a job?

The algorithm is as follows:

1. Create a resume.
2. Post on job sites.
3. Send to employers with a cover letter.
4. Answer the calls of employers, "punching" information about the company, so as not to get to scammers.
5. Come interview on time in clean and tidy clothes.
6. Don’t give anyone any money!

Find the “Work without experience” section on the website and see all the vacancies.

Select a vacancy and click "Apply."

The system will prompt you to select a suitable resume from the list. Be careful - do not send a carwash resume for a courier job!

Before submitting, check the “Professional Skills” field in your resume and compare with the responsibilities specified in the job description. If you want to get a courier job, indicate your strengths that will come in handy at work: courtesy, punctuality, sociability and more. Start from the expectations that are indicated in the vacancy, but do not overdo it. Do not write what is not.
