Military profession in Russia

Thanks to the reforms not so long ago carried out within the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the role of the army in the country has greatly increased. Now the military profession is not only an honorary title and decent pay, but also a specialist with excellent training, a good knowledge base and sufficient experience. It is these skills that the defender of the Fatherland must possess in order to be ready at any moment to defend the freedom and independence of our Motherland.

Military profession: description and content of activities

The military specialty refers to the public service, the purpose of which is to protect the population from possible invaders, to keep the territory, human and material resources. Professional military men decide or strictly fulfill the order of the higher command regarding necessary military operations.

In wartime or in training battles, a high-class specialist should be able to give a clear description of the required amount of equipment and the required number of military formations. Quickly detect potential dangers, report to senior management. All actions performed must be legal and with absolute observance of the charter.

Application area

The military profession makes it possible to work in garrisons, units, "hot spots" and take part in peacekeeping missions. Also, the education allowed to work in the courts and justice, in the prosecutor's office, at customs, at strategic facilities and in security organizations. With experience and the required knowledge, a military specialist is allowed to engage in teaching.

Education

Specialists are trained for service in the Russian Army in higher military educational institutions. For the first course, citizens who do not have officer ranks are accepted. The term of study in military institutions is 5 years. In the process of obtaining an education, a cadet not only undergoes training in military affairs, but also receives a civilian specialty similar in profile to the chosen profession in the army.

Education in universities is carried out on a contract basis. This agreement involves the conclusion of an agreement between the institution and the cadet on military service during the training period and after its completion for 5 years. Cadets who signed the contract have a monetary allowance many times higher than scholarships in civilian universities.

Everyone who has completed the curriculum requirements and successfully passed the state certification is awarded the rank of lieutenant and military profession with a qualification level. The resulting specialty is confirmed by a state diploma.

The main list of military professions

The main specialties in the leadership, upbringing, training of soldiers and sailors are: positions of crew commanders, units, posts, combat crews, etc. The commander simultaneously performs the duties of a tutor, organizer and specialist, and also answers:

• for training, education and military discipline of their subordinates;
• moral and psychological state of soldiers;
• the appearance and drill of their subordinates.

The modern army is equipped with sophisticated weapons and military equipment, therefore, the list of military professions necessarily includes operator positions. The work of operators of different profiles is to manage, control, transfer and transform information. It is in close cooperation with equipment and weapons.

High troop mobility directly depends on the training of military drivers. Their activity is based on the acquired skills with the work of moving objects. Self-propelled vehicles include: automobile and armored vehicles, railway transport, etc.

The fair sex on the defense of the Fatherland

Recently, there has been an increase in the interest of young women in becoming an officer. In the Army of Russia there are already about 40 thousand representatives of the fair half, and some of them have the title of "colonel".

Military women’s professions can be obtained at 18 universities in our country, but the selection of candidates for cadets is very strict. In the process of training, they acquire military specialties for the most part in the humanitarian profile. The military professions for girls related to programming, automation, medicine and communications are also being mastered.

Military professions for girls make it possible to become airborne Amazons, having received education in aviation universities. They do not practice flight. The training of cadets consists in mastering the military specialty “metrology”. As experience shows, it is women who become highly qualified specialists in this field.
