At any production, various documents are used. Safety instructions are considered necessary. They recorded safe ways to perform work and use devices. The legislation establishes standards for the content of these documents. Mandatory is the existence of a register for the issuance of instructions on labor protection, which will be discussed in the article.

Why is a magazine required?

During the investigation of accidents, it is checked whether there are labor protection instructions, as well as their availability for employees. If they are not, then the responsibility for the violation lies with the head or employee responsible for this area. It is for this that a register of the issuance of instructions for labor protection is required.

What is specified in the law?

The law does not fix the norm for the availability of a document regulating the issuance of instructions. But this is a recommendation. In practice, this book is the most convenient method for recording instructions on labor protection rules.

Labor protection registration books will contain instructions. It will be possible to track them, to whom and when the documents were provided, and to whom the issuance of new copies is required. The presence of the book may be required during the inspection by the labor inspectorate. In its absence, it is usually recommended to start.

Filling out

How to fill out a register for issuing labor protection instructions? This is done with a blue or black ballpoint pen. Do not take notes with a pencil. Information should be entered in order, it is important to exclude empty lines. The columns are filled carefully, do not clean up or use the corrector.

If an error is found, then the line must be crossed out, and below the correct information. When a set of instructions is provided to an employee, a separate line should be allocated for each, and not separated by commas. Near each instruction, the employee needs to sign.

Although the book is not considered a binding document, and the rules for filling it out are not specified in the law, it is necessary to carefully record. In this case, with verification and during the investigation of an injury at work, the recorded information can confirm the correct use of labor protection instructions.

What is included in the magazine?

The register of issuing instructions on labor protection must be maintained on the basis of a unified form. There are 7 columns in it:

  1. Serial number.
  2. Date of issue.
  3. Instruction number.
  4. The name of the instruction.
  5. The number of instances provided.
  6. F. I. O. and the position of the recipient.
  7. Signature.

Since the use of such a book is a recommendation, in each enterprise additional columns can be fixed or extra ones removed. The magazine can be either bought or downloaded, or made independently.

Sealing Rules

The register of issuance of instructions for labor protection must be numbered. The book must be laced up. The following instructions will help to seal according to all the rules:

  1. Numbering on all sheets on one side.
  2. Run 2 or 3 through holes in the internal margins with an awl, only the cover is not affected.
  3. Then the thread with the needle is threaded into the holes several times, but the threads should not be tightened too much.
  4. The book must be opened in the middle and the threads aligned so as not to complicate the use of documents.
  5. The two ends of the threads must be displayed on the last sheet of the magazine, fixing them with a knot.
  6. After that, you need to prepare a small white rectangle, which indicates the completion of lacing, numbering. Then everything is sealed by printing.
  7. The paper records the number of pages, including in capital letters.
  8. Indication of F. I. O. and the position of the person who is responsible for this is mandatory.
  9. You need to stick a rectangle on the threads so that their tips are visible on the other side.
  10. At the end, a seal is placed, which should capture the last page.

Sealing a book serves as protection against corrections by eliminating pages.

Storage

The logbook for issuing labor protection instructions for workers is kept by the engineer or specialist who is responsible for this. The law does not establish that this requires special conditions, so you can store the book with other documentation. After the end of the sheets in the journal, it is sent to the archive, where it is stored for 5 years, and then destroyed.

If the documentation is not completed, but has become unusable, you can start a new one. In this case, the old book must be preserved. After all, it is likely that the provision of instructions will need to be proved. At each production, it is desirable to have such a document. After all, this will prevent many problems.
