The picker must strictly comply with the rules of packaging and labeling of products, establish the exact number of goods shipped (boxes, bags, bales, etc.), and complete each shipment with a packing label.
As already mentioned, the picker must be able to properly draw up the documentation (data sheet, certificate, accounting documents, etc.) and send the documents to the recipient in a timely manner.
Duties
The picker selects the goods and transports them to the place of picking; verifies the names and quantity of materials with the data indicated in the documentation; picks up the goods; weighs it, packs, fills labels and tags, and also indicates the address of the recipient and prepares the goods for inventory.
Technique for the selection of orders
The pickers in their work can use various equipment to select the goods that the customer ordered. To date, two types of equipment are known: high-level, with a rising cabin for the operator, and low-level loaders. A picker, using a low-level pick-up, can transport up to three pallets at a time. To do this, use forks with a lift of up to two meters or platforms for lifting the operator by one meter, which makes it possible to collect goods from the rack of both the first and second levels.
For a set of goods from the second and third levels of the rack, the picker uses a high-level loader. The cabin rising with the operator moves simultaneously with the machine along the aisle.
A responsibility

The employee is responsible for the refusal to perform his duties or poor performance of work, as well as for offenses committed in the course of business, and causing material harm.
The salary
Today, the profession of a picker in the labor market is not in demand, since wages do not exceed the average level. In the capital of Russia, it is up to twenty eight thousand rubles, and in the regions - up to twenty five thousand.
