So, a heating engineer. What will the engineering university student have to work with and what kind of work will be his responsibility? The specialty sounds similar, it assumes the provision of technical use and the stable functioning of thermal equipment. The employee must:

  • participate in organizing meetings with suppliers of heat energy, as well as in drafting and signing agreements;
  • conduct supervisory activities, bear personal responsibility for timely fixed equipment failures;

  • carry out the preparation and maintenance of thermal power plants;
  • to study foreign best practices for servicing equipment;
  • keep records of indicators of heat consumption devices;
  • analyze the reliability of the available equipment numbers with calculated data;
  • participate in the preparation of instructions and monitor its implementation in the operation of equipment;
  • draw up applications for the supply of spare parts, provide reports on the implementation of the plans;
  • be responsible for the preparation of thermal installations for work in the heating season;
  • practice preventive work in the inter-heating period of time.

A heating engineer is one who bears a heavy burden of responsibility. For non-fulfillment of their duties assigned by the instruction, administrative and even criminal liability is provided, depending on the situation, compensation for material damage, within the framework of the legislation of the Russian Federation.
