If while watching the movie Apollo 13 you thought you could do better, now you have your chance to prove it. NASA space employees announce a recruitment of recruits who want to go to places where people have long been gone. By hiring people as early as next month, experts will train a bunch of newcomers to participate in future missions to the moon with the goal of launching into space in just four years.

Not everyone is invited

Speaking about recruitment, NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstein said: “We are celebrating our twentieth year of continuous presence aboard the International Space Station in low Earth orbit this year. We are on the verge of sending a team of several people to the moon by 2024."

For those talented women and men who will be hired to join the diverse corps of astronauts, an unforgettable time will come. This is an incredible experience of manned space flight, which in a short time will become a real specialist in the field of space. Such knowledge will not give any training program in the world.

“We ask all Americans if they have everything they need to submit an application starting March 2. However, before you decide to take the chance to walk on the moon, it is important to study a few requirements. After all, no one will let people mess around in space, right? ” - concluded Jim Breedenstein.

You can also apply if you have at least two years of work experience in graduate school related to science, technology, technology or mathematics.

You also have the right to apply for a place in the team if you received a doctorate in medicine or are a doctor of osteopathic medicine. Doctors in space have always been highly regarded, but that is not all. It is better to have at least the slightest idea of working in outer space.

Special experience is welcome.

NASA staff will consider your candidacy if you have completed (or intend to complete) a nationally recognized space curriculum school curriculum. You must also have at least two years of “relevant, progressively responsible professional experience” or 1000 hours of team time on the plane.

Pilots are preferred, but such an experience is not required at all. You can be a theorist, for example, an aircraft design engineer. Such knowledge will be useful to the team going on a space journey. Also, experience in flight management (e.g. air traffic controllers) is welcome. However, all these requirements are not absolute, each candidacy will be considered according to different criteria.

All applicants must also undergo a long NASA test flight. The team will be placed in conditions as close as possible to natural space. The best specialists will prepare for the flight of people, the latest world technologies will be at their services. The team has 4 years left in preparation, which is a lot, given the capabilities of modern astronautics.

Recruit Training Program

After all worthy will be accepted into the elite program, recruits will take their courses and study to be full-fledged astronauts. Successful candidates may eventually become crew members of the NASA space system rocket and Orion spacecraft and go to the moon.

If you think that you have everything you need to go to space, you can apply for a place in the program. Such a chance does not occur often, but most likely - only once in a lifetime. It would be a shame to miss him on the eve of such a grand event as a flight to the moon.
