In the modern labor market, there are such vacancies about which we had hardly heard anything before. Increasingly in the newspapers and on the network you can find the phrase "an interviewer is required." This is a word of English origin. Literally conducting interviews or surveys. What organizations need such a specialist and how to become one?

An interviewer is a profession

associated with communication with people. All of us more than once faced with surveys and questionnaires. Various sociological and political organizations study public opinion, marketing research is carried out both by the producers themselves and, by their order, specialized companies. An interviewer is a performer; as a rule, he does not independently compose the panets and does not analyze the collected results. This - as well as the development of questions and criteria - is done by sociologists and marketers. The interviewer himself, whose responsibilities are primarily associated with direct communication with the person being questioned, must conduct a survey competently, ethically, in compliance with all requirements. These may include finding respondents (samples) that are suitable for age, gender, other criteria, creating an environment, establishing direct contact with a conversation and sincere answers.

The results of the questionnaire, their reliability and the necessary degree of specification often depend on how well it is possible to start communication. For example, if the respondent is in a hurry, busy, and unfriendly, this may subconsciously affect his answers. An interviewer is an employee of a survey agency that communicates directly and selects the people who are surveyed. His job is to get the most detailed, sincere, accurate answers to the questions posed, which can be closed or open type. In the first case, answers are offered in advance, from which you need to make a choice. In the second, the questionnaire independently describes his impressions, sets out opinions, formulates thoughts and feelings. The survey can be conducted either by phone or by direct contact, in focus groups, on the street, in a specially equipped or arbitrary room (for example, in an apartment, in a cafe or in a store).

The interviewer may record responses on special forms, but may also have a laptop or tablet.

If the questionnaire is conducted on the premises of the company, as a rule, he fills out the questionnaire on his own or helps the respondent do it. The work of an interviewer in Moscow and other large cities is simplified by the fact that due to the high concentration of the population it is easier to meet the norm. Payment most often depends on the number of questionnaires filled out by the interviewer or invited respondents (if they themselves answer questions in a special computer program). Large companies often selectively control their employees. After some time, the respondent may be called and compared his answers with those recorded in the questionnaire. To be an interviewer, first of all, you need to have such personal qualities as conscientiousness, punctuality, diligence, sociability, ability to get people to yourself, stress resistance. You can usually get training within a few days. Most often, the training is carried out by the employing company itself.
